What I recommend, though i don't know if it affects the indexing, is the to first, watch the order in which you place your tags and second use phrases that you think someone might use when searching on fragrances. Personally, if i were searching on fragrances, I'd probably just use the word "fragrances" but thinking about it, people may search on "sweet fragrances", "quality fragrances". Other than that, i don't really have anything helpful. -Randy On 8/25/06, Mark Kamichoff wrote: > On Thu, Aug 24, 2006 at 11:32:04PM -0400, Pranay Khurana wrote: > > Hey, almost done with my site: > > > > www.pleasantfragrances.com > > > > Question is, getting it on google/yahoo/msn. Hey,
With no understanding really of how the bots do their indexing, I don't really have good suggestions on the meta tags.

Sheesh, got me.  I've never tried to get a page to the top of a Google
search, except for accident.  (Google for "linux kame netscreen")

I have the following tag on my page template:

<meta name="keywords" content="Mark Kamichoff, Networking, Linux, IPv6,
Rensselaer Polytehnic Institute" />

But I'm sure it's not doing much...

Maybe Randy has better ideas...

- Mark
